Ragnar Trail Wawayanda Lake

On October 5 and 6, it’s time to take your love of running, camping and the great outdoors to the next level.

Ragnar Trail Wawayanda Lake presented by Salomon, in association with New York Road Runners, is located just 50 miles outside the lights of New York City in northern New Jersey. Grab your most adventurous friends (or anyone ready for an unforgettable, nature-fueled experience) and join us to run relay style over two days and one star-filled night! Check it out:

On Friday morning, the start gun goes off, and teams of 8 (or 4) set out to conquer a series of three smooth single track trails that start and finish at Ragnar Village right next to the shores of Wawayanda Lake.

Back home at Ragnar Village you can rest your legs next to the campfire, chow down on s’mores, and relax with your team. This year, runners (friends, co-workers, kids) are welcome to join us a night earlier, starting on Thursday for a bonus day of camping, campfires, kumbaya-ing and fun!

Ragnar Trail is like summer camp for grownups. Any level of runner can come conquer the trails as you find yourself in this journey of adventure, self-discovery, and sheer nature-loving goodness. Mark your running calendar for October 5 and 6 and join us for a soul re-boot/adventure with friends/ultimate badass weekend.

Be sure to include your NYRR member number when you register, and enter the promo code NYRR10 to save 10% on your registration fee.

This race counts toward our 9+1 program for runners. Volunteer credit is not available for this event.

What is Ragnar Trail?

Teams of eight run relay-style on three different awe inspiring loops that start and finish at Ragnar Village. Teams run day and night, and push their limits, until each member has completed all three trail loops with friends and a community of runners by their side.

Read the Ragnar Trail Guide for lots of helpful info. For specific questions, contact customerservice@ragnarrelay.com, call 801-499-5024, or call the toll-free 877-83-RELAY.

One person registers the team and pays in full, and then recruits thrill-seeking friends and family to join the journey. And don't forget the snacks!
